Lot Porter (Service)

Confidence Chevy Buick GMC, a Cavender Auto Family Dealership, is currently looking for a talented Lot Porter (Service) to join our growing family and help "Make Confidence Happen". 

• → Must be able to handle and drive all cars safely to protect dealership property and always ensure damage prevention.
• →Porter's responsibilities also include driving off-site to do dealership tasks when necessary.
• → It is also necessary for these individuals to take detailed notes on vehicle conditions and movements.
• →Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice
• →Inspect vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice, such as spare tires and radio and stereo equipment
• →Record the description of damages and list missing items on the delivery receipt
• →Assign stock control numbers to cards
• →Catalog and store keys
• →Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department
• →Other duties as assigned

• → High School Diploma/GED is required
• → Successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• → Valid driver's license
• → Candidates must be willing to work unusual business hours, such as holidays, weekends, and evenings.
• →Positive attitude and high energy and excellent communication and social skills.
• →Ability to read and comprehend job-related instructions and information whether electronic or paper-based.
• →Be able to accommodate the physical requirements of the role: standing 6-8 hours per day and will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. This role will spend most of the time outdoors and be exposed to the elements.
