We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and modern cloud technologies to lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable enterprise-level applications. In this role, you will take ownership of complex technical initiatives, guide engineering teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that address critical business needs.

As a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead, you will play a key role in defining technical direction, driving engineering best practices, and ensuring the successful delivery of reliable, maintainable, and high-performance systems. Your responsibilities will include hands-on software development, system architecture, technical leadership, and mentoring junior engineers while supporting cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage technical discussions, and contribute to building scalable solutions across distributed systems and cloud environments.

• →Lead the design, development, testing, documentation, and maintenance of scalable, reliable, and high-performance enterprise software applications.
• →Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, guiding them through complex technical challenges, system design decisions, and problem-solving activities.
• →Manage daily standups, Jira tasks, sprint updates, and technical discussions to ensure alignment with project goals and delivery timelines.
• →Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and cross-functional engineering teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• →Design and implement robust backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• →Drive architectural decisions and contribute to system design, ensuring scalability, maintainability, reliability, and performance.
• →Develop and maintain event-driven and distributed systems using messaging technologies such as Kafka and Amazon SQS.
• →Participate in the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based solutions, preferably using AWS services.
• →Support DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployment processes.
• →Design and implement comprehensive automated testing strategies, including unit, integration, regression, and load testing.
• →Work with relational and non-relational databases, ensuring efficient data modeling, performance optimization, and data integrity.
• →Identify and resolve complex technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and lead cross-functional troubleshooting efforts.
• →Implement and maintain application logging, monitoring, and observability solutions using tools such as New Relic and Splunk.
• →Participate in on-call support during working hours to ensure application reliability and timely incident resolution.
• →Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and promote high standards for code quality, security, testing, and automation.
• →Demonstrate strong ownership, communication, and problem-solving skills while collaborating with distributed engineering teams.

• 8+ years of professional hands-on experience in software development, with strong expertise in system design, software architecture, and building enterprise-level applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java (required), including extensive experience developing scalable backend services and enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Proven experience in technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and driving technical initiatives across engineering teams.
• Experience with messaging and event-driven technologies such as Kafka and Amazon SQS.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda is preferred.
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI/CD and Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing methodologies, including unit, integration, regression, and load testing.
• Experience working with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Experience with application monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as New Relic and Splunk.
• Ability to analyze complex technical requirements, design scalable solutions, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Experience working in Agile environments, including sprint planning, daily standups, Jira management, and stakeholder collaboration.
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to lead technical discussions, guide engineering teams, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and ownership of technical deliverables.
• Experience with React is a strong plus.
• Experience with Python is a strong plus.
