Our client is the asset management division of an international bank in Zurich. We are looking for a US tax compliance specialist (m, f, d) as

Responsible for tax reporting to investors in Germany / Carrying out analyses of extensive tax and financial data sets / Preparing and reviewing forms to fulfil tax reporting obligations to investors in Germany / Preparing tabular summaries and drafting footnotes for investors regarding reportable transactions / Processing various client orders and ensuring that special cases are recorded correctly and that the results of detailed reporting are accurate / Developing analytical dashboards and reporting frameworks, as well as optimising reporting processes, automation and quality controls / Monitoring the quality of reported outputs, including rectifying potential errors in collaboration with support teams / Participating in projects spanning multiple countries and time zones / Contributing to the development of AI-based tools to automate analyses and ensure regulatory compliance / Ad hoc projects.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in taxation or business law / Knowledge of US tax legislation and the relevant forms / Practical professional experience in the field of US tax reporting with one of the ‘Big Four’ or a tax consultancy firm / Analytical mindset and ability to work as part of a team / Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills / Strong project management and communication skills / Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment / Adaptability and resilience when dealing with change / Excellent communication and interpersonal skills / Fluent written and spoken English.
