Senior Software Engineer I

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer I to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Golang, Java, or Python, with a passion for building scalable, reliable, and high-performing applications. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining mission-critical systems while contributing to engineering best practices and technical excellence across the organization.

• →Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable production services, web applications, APIs, data pipelines, and distributed systems.
• →Build and support systems that are critical to the company's current and future operations.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across multiple services and technology stacks.
• →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• →Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards, security practices, and coding guidelines.
• →Research, analyze, and document technical solutions, findings, and recommendations.
• →Support engineering teams through technical expertise and attention to detail.
• →Participate in software testing activities including test review, validation, and quality assurance processes.
• →Evaluate code for performance, scalability, maintainability, and compatibility across environments.
• →Contribute to the enhancement of engineering standards, development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and operational processes.
• →Mentor junior engineers and positively influence team members through technical guidance and best practices.
• →Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and software development methodologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of the following languages:
  • Golang
  • Java
  • Python
• Experience designing and developing scalable, cloud-native applications and microservices.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools.
• Exposure to streaming platforms such as Kafka or similar technologies.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
