Senior RPA Specialist

You will leverage RPA development tools to replace redundant business processes, analyze the performance of RPA architecture, and refactor workflows for scalability and performance, specifically focusing on automated utility bill transactions. In this role, you will build, monitor, and troubleshoot robots to ensure consistent and accurate data processing. You will also look for opportunities to expand automation into EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and other core system processes. Serving as a key liaison, you will coordinate with external vendors for system setup and collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure all automated processes run seamlessly. 

As an RPA Specialist in the Electronic Space, you will: 

• →Design, Build, & Deploy: Plan, design, and develop automated robots tailored to handle utility bill transactions and complex data processing. 
• →Monitor & Optimize: Continuously monitor production robots, diagnose system exceptions, and fix or refactor code to ensure continuous, reliable business functions. 
• →Expand & Innovate: Proactively analyze current manual operations to identify additional areas of growth, scaling the footprint of automation across the department. 
• →System & EDI Integration: Assist in building and maintaining SFTP/MFT platforms and other specialized transaction systems. 
• →Vendor & Internal Collaboration: Act as the primary technical point of contact to work with external vendors on system configuration, while aligning internally with developers and testers to bring robots online. 
• →Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute rigorous testing protocols to validate robot reliability and data integrity before production deployment. 

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; OR equivalent hands-on experience (typically 2–4 years) designing, building, and troubleshooting complex RPA robots to handle architecture and system integrations. 
• Technical Background: Strong computer knowledge and a solid background in RPA development suites, with exposure to or an understanding of EDI and electronic transaction file formats.
• Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Analytical mindset with the ability to quickly identify, debug, and resolve issues within live robot architectures.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring high accuracy when manipulating financial and utility bill data.
• Relationship Management: Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal team members, cross-functional stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
• Time Management: Excellent organization skills with the ability to balance ongoing bot maintenance and monitoring with new development pipelines.
• Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt quickly to different processes, evolving vendor specifications, and changing system requirements.
