The Arch Energy Intern supports project teams in advancing energy and decarbonization objectives across various job sites. This role offers hands-on experience in safety administration, risk monitoring, subcontractor coordination, and daily project documentation within a dynamic construction environment.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assist in the execution and support of energy and decarbonization projects to advance sustainable construction goals.
- →Support the administration of project safety programs, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all team members.
- →Review and document risk management activities, continuously monitoring and reporting on potential project risks.
- →Accurately record subcontractor daily work, coordinate the gathering and distribution of project information, and maintain high-quality project documentation.
- →Participate in weekly project meetings to stay aligned with team progress and objectives.
- →Perform other duties as assigned by the project team to support overall project success.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated passion for the construction industry, especially related to sustainability and decarbonization.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within a collaborative team setting.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, professional, and high-quality work environment.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Foundational understanding of energy efficiency principles, decarbonization strategies, and construction safety protocols.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn project management software and scheduling tools.
- Basic knowledge of risk management processes, including documentation and mitigation support.
- Capable of managing project documentation, data collection, and subcontractor tracking.
