This is an opportunity to begin or further develop your consulting career, supporting high-impact projects within the Power & Utilities sector in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. You will work alongside experienced consulting teams, contributing to the analysis of complex operational challenges and supporting the delivery of practical, data-driven solutions that improve safety, performance, and sustainability outcomes.
The Power & Utilities sector sits at the centre of the global transition to clean, reliable energy systems. As the industry evolves, organisations face increasing complexity across operations, infrastructure, and sustainability. At dss+, we support clients to strengthen resilience, improve performance, and embed sustainable practices across their operations.
You will support high-impact client engagements, working alongside experienced consulting teams to analyse operational challenges and contribute to practical solutions. This role provides the opportunity to build foundational consulting and technical skills while gaining exposure to complex client environments.
Responsibilities

Supporting consulting teams in the delivery of client engagements and project workstreams

Analysing operational processes, performance data, and improvement opportunities

Conducting research, interviews, and field observations
- →
Contributing to presentations, reports, and client deliverables

Supporting workshops and stakeholder engagement activities

Assisting in identifying practical recommendations and operational improvement initiatives
- →
Building understanding of client operations, consulting methodologies, and industry challenges
You bring strong analytical thinking, a curious mindset, and the ability to work effectively in diverse, international environments. You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders, solving problems, and contributing to meaningful outcomes.
2+ years of experience in roles such as consulting, market intelligence, strategic planning (S&OP), process structuring, or business analytics.
Interest in consulting, operational improvement, or the Power & Utilities sector
Exposure to data analysis, research, or project-based environments is beneficial
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, build logical reasoning, and synthesize information into actionable insights.
Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI (knowledge of additional data analytics tools is a plus).
Ability to work effectively in team-based, multicultural environments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
Fluency in English and Portuguese required
Willingness to travel within Brazil and internationally as required
