Context Global seeks motivated Certified Deaf Interpreters to work as flex-time freelance interpreters.

Responsibilities

ASL Interpreting:

• Provide effective communication facilitation between multiple parties, working with hearing interpreter teams
• Be able to match the variety of linguistic needs present in the greater ASL community
• Understand cultural and linguistic differences between communities and respond accordingly

Expectations

• Submit time sheets, invoices, and paperwork on time and as required
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Adhere to the RID Code of Professional Conduct

Requirements

• Culturally and Linguistically Deaf
• Fluency in American Sign Language and written English
• RID Certified Deaf Interpreter or comparable experience
• Self-motivated and well organized
