Production Tech

THE ROLE:
As a Production Technician, you’ll play a critical role in our mission to deliver top-quality hemp products. As an essential member of our team, you will help ensure the smooth operation of our production processes. From operating equipment to packaging and fulfilling orders, you’ll work alongside experienced scientists and production leads in a rapidly growing business, contributing to the stability and success of our operations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Collaborate: Work with a team to achieve production goals and maintain smooth process flow.
• Operate Machinery: Effectively operate packaging machinery and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the workplace organized and clean, including equipment and machinery.
• Monitor Materials: Ensure materials are prepared to support a stable production environment.
• Assist in Production: Support daily batch preparation and production activities.
• Overtime Opportunities: Availability for overtime pay/hours with weekend work as necessary.

SKILLS EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES THAT WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Experience: 1-2 years in a production environment; familiarity with production and packaging equipment.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Adaptability: Flexible to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
• Team Player: Positive energy and reliability for team cohesion.
• Preferred Knowledge: HS diploma and experience with MS Office (Teams, Excel, Word).

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Comfortable with repetitive arm motions.
• Able to regularly lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
