Currently, CorrectHealth provides high quality, cost-effective, comprehensive healthcare services inside the walls of more than 40 correctional facilities throughout Georgia and Louisiana. 

Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED . Must have good written and verbal communication skills and reading comprehension. Strong knowledge of medical record procedures, medical terminology, and computers. HIM experience preferred. 

*Job Summary: The Health Information Technician (HIT) is responsible for clerical functions related to the support and management of the Medical department. HIT is responsible for maintaining medical records and processes in accordance to corporate policy and procedures. The HIT is under the immediate
supervision of the HSA / HSC with additional reporting responsibilities to the Corporate Director of Health Information Management or designee. Must maintain a professional attitude at all times. *
