Associate Investigator

In the Engineering Lab, we explore the fascinating world of crystallization, thermal stability, heat of reaction studies. Our lab is equipped with a diverse array of instrumentation, making every day an exciting opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with experts in the field. The Associate Investigator will provide technical support in two main areas – Crystallization and Reactive Chemicals laboratory through hands-on experimentation and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will possess an analytical mindset, a willingness to learn, and the ability to multitask successfully and efficiently. This role offers a unique chance to work with a variety of instruments and contribute to groundbreaking research. What You’ll Do: * Operate and maintain laboratory instruments used for studying Reactive Chemicals and crystallization. * Conduct experiments and collect data accurately and efficiently. * Analyze experimental results and prepare detailed reports. * Collaborate with researchers and experts to support ongoing projects. * Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized lab environment. * Assist in the development and optimization of experimental procedures. * Communicates project status in a timely fashion. * Ensures samples are labeled in compliance with EH&S requirements and disposes of materials with expired shelf-life. * Capable of acting and resolving issues independently.
