R&D Internship – R&D Digital

Corteva Agriscience is seeking students for full-time internships within our Research and Development organization. Interns will work closely with experienced scientists, engineers, data professionals, and technical experts in an industrial R&D setting, with opportunities to build skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and network across the company. What You’ll Do: Interns will participate in R&D Digital projects supporting data, automation, analytics, and digital tool development across Corteva’s Research and Development organization. * Partner with R&D stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate use cases into digital solutions. * Build, enhance, or automate data workflows, models, dashboards, applications, and/or internal tools that improve efficiency and decision-making. * Apply data engineering, software engineering, analytics, automation, machine learning, and/or AI capabilities to solve R&D problems. * Work in a safe manner and embody Corteva’s safety culture. * Present project reviews throughout the summer and a final poster before colleagues and peers. What Skills You Need: * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Biology, Data Engineering, Information Science, Statistics, or a related field. * Interest in knowledge graphs, network/graph analytics, machine learning, and/or AI-enabled solutions, ideally applied to biological or genomics data. * Strong technical aptitude, problem-solving mindset, curiosity, and willingness to engage with stakeholders to understand discovery needs. * Minimum 3.0 GPA. * Must be able to relocate to Indianapolis, IN for the duration of the internship. * Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during the timeframe of May to August. * Experience with Python, SQL, graph databases or graph libraries (e.g., Neo4j, NetworkX, PyTorch Geometric/DGL), machine learning, data visualization, or cloud-based data platforms a plus but not required. * Familiarity with genomics, microbial biology a plus but not required.
