Hourly base pay rate is $13.70 - $20.53/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. As a Detail Technician I, you’ll help prepare vehicles for sale by cleaning, detailing and inspecting them to meet auction-ready standards. Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll transform vehicles from arrival to auction ready. You will:

→Clean, detail and restore vehicle interiors and exteriors using professional tools, equipment and cleaning products.
→Perform deep-cleaning tasks, including washing, vacuuming, shampooing, polishing and detailing all vehicle interiors, exteriors, engines, wheels and trim.
→Prepare vehicles for sale by removing non-essential items, organizing materials (such as owner’s manuals) and completing final quality inspections.
→Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
→Assist with moving and staging vehicles, including driving vehicles within the auction area as needed.

You’re a dependable team player who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in a job well done and is ready to learn. You also have the following:

Requirements

A valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Prior work experience in an automotive, auction or related operational setting
High school diploma/GED

Ability to lift and hold at least 30 pounds at the waist level for an extended period of time
Ability to stand, walk, talk and hear in a variety of environments
Ability to crouch, bend and kneel to inspect side or underside of vehicles
