Retail Construction Intern

Your mission is to help keep our store build-outs across Canada moving, by supporting our Retail Construction Project Manager (PM) on the coordination that holds a project together. Over your four-month internship, you'll work on live projects: maintaining trackers for schedules, budgets, and deliverables, organizing drawings, permits, and contracts, and preparing the reporting that keeps consultants, contractors, and internal teams aligned.

• →Support the Retail Construction PM by keeping project trackers current for schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• →Organize construction documentation, including drawings, permits, and contracts.
• →Prepare meeting notes and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• →Monitor project milestones and flag updates or risks for the Project Manager's review.
• →Conduct research that supports project decisions, from material options to vendor comparisons.
• →Build your ability to read construction drawings and follow project workflows, taking on more as the internship progresses.

• Bilingualism (English and French), and currently enrolled in architecture, project management, interior design, or a related field.
• A highly analytical approach. You notice when a number doesn't line up and you go find out why.
• Strong organizational instincts. You can keep documentation, trackers, and deadlines straight across multiple projects at once.
• Clear, structured writing for meeting notes and stakeholder reporting.
• Curiosity about how buildings come together, and the patience to learn the documentation before drawing conclusions from it.
• Comfort working with consultants, contractors, and internal teams. Any prior exposure to construction, architecture, or project coordination is a strong asset, but no professional experience is required.
