QA Tester

We partner with leading organisations to provide skilled professionals across software development, quality assurance, cloud engineering, data, and digital transformation. We are currently seeking an experienced QA Automation Tester with Java and Selenium expertise to join a technology team. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver. Develop and maintain automated test frameworks to support efficient and repeatable testing. Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Analyse business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test cases and test scenarios. Identify, document, track, and report software defects. Collaborate with developers and business analysts to investigate and resolve defects. Execute manual testing where required to support overall quality assurance activities. Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines. Perform API testing and validate integrations between systems. Prepare test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test execution reports. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews. Conduct root cause analysis for recurring defects and contribute to continuous quality improvements. Ensure adequate test coverage and compliance with established testing standards. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist with resolving issues identified during testing. Minimum Requirements Relevant degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a QA Tester, Automation Tester, or QA Automation Engineer. Strong programming skills in Java. Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for automated testing. Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks. Good understanding of software testing methodologies and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Experience with functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies. Experience using defect tracking and test management tools. Knowledge of version control systems such as Git. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
