Regional Financial Manager CPT

Role Overview Our client, a well-established provider of shipping/ Large Scale transportation and logistics services, is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee the full financial function of their Cape Town branch. The role requires a commercially astute finance professional with hands-on operational experience within logistics, shipping, or a closely related industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial governance, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and team leadership, supporting both operational and strategic decision-making at branch level. Minimum Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Professional qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or similar) advantageous Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in a relevant industry (shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, transport, or supply chain) Minimum 3 years’ proven management experience leading finance teams Strong experience in branch-level or operational finance environments Technical & Professional Skills Strong financial reporting and analytical capability Sound understanding of logistics cost structures and revenue models Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills Key Competencies Commercially minded and operationally focused Strong leadership and people management ability High attention to detail with strong governance orientation Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
