Job Purpose

The Delivery Lead is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of projects and programs within a region, ensuring consistency in execution, adherence to scope, and alignment with strategic business goals. This role emphasises empowerment, ownership, and accountability, requiring proactive decision-making, resource optimisation, and cross-functional leadership.

 

The Delivery Lead ensures that the delivery framework is applied consistently, risks are mitigated, and teams are empowered to achieve successful project outcomes.

 

This role also operates as a Player‑Manager, actively leading key projects while managing a team of Project Managers and Product Consultants, ensuring delivery excellence both tactically and strategically.

Our Hybrid Working Model requires employees to be on-site three days per week—specifically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.


This role will require up to 50% international travel.


Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Delivery Ownership

  • Own the full end-to-end (E2E) delivery of projects within assigned program.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Establish and drive best practices in project execution, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

Presales Support (Estimation, SoW, RFx Engagement)

  • Lead or contribute to presales activities by providing expert delivery input into solution design and delivery approach.
  • Develop accurate effort estimates, resourcing plans, and implementation timelines to support commercial proposals.
  • Create and validate detailed Scopes of Work (SoW), clearly outlining assumptions, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
  • Participate in RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ), collaborating with Sales, Product, and Technical teams to craft competitive and accurate responses.
  • Ensure presales commitments align with operational capacity, delivery methodology, and profitability targets.

Standardised Delivery Process & Change Management

  • Ensure the Delivery process is applied consistently across the program.
  • Enforce Change Management processes from project scoping to final delivery, including estimation accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, refining processes to optimise delivery efficiency.

Project Progress & Risk Management

  • Take full ownership of project performance, ensuring proactive monitoring and course correction across a program.
  • Provide guidance & support to Project manager to identify and mitigate risks before they impact project delivery, working cross-functionally with stakeholders.
  • Ensure clear communication of project progress, challenges, and resolutions to senior leadership and customers.

Resource Management & Revenue forecasting

  • Responsible for ensuring that revenue forecast are met as per agreed Budget
  • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure that the reported actuals (timesheet) are aligned with Resource forecast inputs.   
  • Manage and report pro-actively to VP of Delivery any risks around revenue deviation
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure optimisation of resource utilisation across his assigned programmes
  • Act a s point of Escalation in case of resources demand conflict with others Delivery Leads
  • Forecast resource needs based on pipeline projects, current capacity, and business demand.

People Leadership & Team Empowerment

  • Act as a Player-Manager, actively managing key projects while leading a team of Project Managers.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and career development opportunities for direct reports.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and high performance within the delivery team.
  • Ensure team alignment as per CR2 values, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing across projects and departments.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Partner with Account Managers, Sales, and Business Support to align project execution with customer and business expectations.
  • Act as a key escalation point for project-related challenges, ensuring swift resolution.
  • Strengthen cross-functional collaboration to drive customer success and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong Domain banking knowledge essential across payment and digital solutions.
  • Proven experience in program delivery, project management, or PMO leadership.
  • Strong background in resource forecasting, risk management, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing direct reports, including Project Managers and Consultants.
  • Expertise in delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models).
  • Experience in change management and process standardisation across multiple projects or regions.
  • Strong financial acumen to manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Fluency in Arabic, English and French
