- Anticipate surgeon’s needs
- Keep a calm attitude in stressful circumstances
Requirements
~1 min read- Prefer graduate of accredited Surgical Technologists program (RN’s and LPN’s are able to function as a scrub nurse with the same orientation as a scrub tech)
- BLS
- Scrub tech certification
- Ability to care for all patient populations
- One to two years recent experience in a surgical setting – scrub tech, RN, LPN
- Two years as CNA who exhibits excellent knowledge of sterile technique will be considered
