The day's business is being reviewed. Revenue is being balanced. Reports are being prepared. Systems are being reset. Details are being checked.
We're looking for a Night Auditor who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and getting the details right.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, is comfortable with numbers and technology, and understands that the accuracy of tonight's work sets the hotel up for tomorrow's success.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Audit daily restaurant revenue by reviewing Point of Sale tapes and journals.
- →Break down revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out, and settlements by type and cashier.
- →Run audit reports and journals from the Front Office system, Point of Sale system, and computer.
- →Review information carefully and identify discrepancies or issues.
- →Make necessary corrections and adjustments.
- →Troubleshoot and address computer or system problems that occur during the shift.
- →Enter revenue, expenses, and allowances into the Front Office system.
- →Generate daily reports, including the Guest Ledger Summary and Daily Restaurant Summary.
- →Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly.
- →Maintain organized files and supporting documentation.
- →Reset systems for the next day's operations.
- →Communicate relevant issues or concerns to the appropriate leadership.
- →Maintain a professional and guest-focused presence throughout the shift.
- →Support guests and associates with questions or concerns when needed.
- →Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
