Solution Architect & Presales Engineer

Missions:

The Role of the Solution Architect & Presales Engineer is primarily to develop a comprehensive business solution and a proposal for EU institutions customers during the bidding process. This role involves orchestrating the integration of various elements such as operational strategies, technological solutions, commercial considerations, and stakeholder engagement to create a compelling and competitive solution. 

We need someone who has a strong aptitude for quickly learning and adapting to new technologies, a deep understanding of various tech domains, hands on writer, problem-solving abilities, effective communication and collaboration skills, critical thinking, analytical reasoning,  and a continuous desire for self-improvement and staying updated with the latest technological advancements

Profile:  

• Background and experience: At least 7 years work experience in IT development, operations, and/or service delivery management + cloud expertise and a keen interest in emerging technologies  
• Languages: English native and/or a superior written and verbal communication skills in business English. Ability to also communicate inf French and/or Dutch.  
• Diploma: A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or the relevant experience  

Organisational skills: 

• EU-specific Tendering knowledge. 
• ICT management skills (e.g. ITSM, IT governance, IT methodologies, IT costing and value management, etc.) 
• Project Management and virtual team coordination skills 
• Ability to co-create big-picture software solutions. 
• Familiarity with business hardware and software systems 
• Highly structure and capable of summarizing messages in a visual format.  
• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint. Proficiency in MS Excel 

ONSITE: 3days/week onsite in Brussels, BELGIUM.
