Under the direction of the Dean, the Administration & Business Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the administrative, finance, and IT functions of the College of Continuing and Professional Education. This role ensures that the operational needs of the College are met efficiently and effectively, including managing human resources, finance, information technology, facilities, and general administrative support. This position plays a critical role in streamlining processes, improving organizational effectiveness, and supporting the College’s mission to provide high-quality programs.

This position is a strategic and collaborative leader with extensive experience overseeing financial, human resources, information technology, and administrative operations within a complex organization. They possess strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, resource allocation, financial reporting, procurement, payroll, and contract management, with the ability to analyze data, ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and drive long-term fiscal sustainability while supporting informed decision-making and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is also a skilled human resources professional with experience in workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. They serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, effectively guiding managers through personnel matters while fostering an inclusive, compliant, and high-performing workplace. They are committed to employee development, engagement, and succession planning and are adept at implementing programs that support staff growth and organizational success.
In addition, the candidate provides strategic leadership in information technology, leveraging technology to enhance academic programs, student services, and business operations. They have experience leading digital transformation initiatives, overseeing IT infrastructure and enterprise systems, ensuring cybersecurity and data governance, and implementing technology solutions that improve efficiency, innovation, and data-informed decision-making.
Complementing these strengths, the ideal candidate demonstrates effective leadership in facilities and operations management, overseeing space planning, records management, vendor relations, emergency preparedness, and administrative processes. They are committed to maintaining safe, efficient, and well-managed operations while continuously identifying opportunities to improve services and support the College's mission and strategic goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative management, including HR and financial management, preferably in a higher education setting
