Assistant Professor in Speech-Language Pathology

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at California State University, Fullerton, invites applications for a tenure‐track Assistant Professor position in speech-language pathology with an appointment to begin in Fall 2027.

• →Doctorate in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field; ABD will be considered but must have doctorate completed before appointment date.
• →Earned or are eligible/expecting to receive ASHA CCC-SLP.
• →Eligibility for California licensure in speech-language pathology.
• →Knowledge/experience in child language disorders for teaching courses in this area.
• →Evidence of strong potential for research leading to the scholarly publications necessary for tenure.

• Evidence of publication-ready manuscripts.
• Evidence of strong potential for teaching effectiveness.
• Evidence of balancing excellent teaching, scholarship, and service.
• Experience of interacting successfully in an inclusive environment.
• Indicators of commitment to culturally/linguistically diverse students including first-generation college students.
• Collaboration experience with students, colleagues, or local community members.
