Assistant Professor of Nursing

• →Must hold an active, unencumbered, unrestricted California license to practice as a professional registered nurse, with no pending or imposed disciplinary action.
• →A master’s degree in nursing or a related field from a nationally recognized, regionally accredited institution at the time of appointment.
• →A minimum of one year of teaching experience in a clinical area within a baccalaureate or higher-degree nursing program.
• →At least two years of full-time clinical experience within the past five years in maternal-child, gerontological, or community health nursing.
• →California Public Health Nurse (PHN) certification is required for community health nursing faculty.
• →Eligibility for approval as a nursing instructor by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
• →Demonstrated commitment to teaching students from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds, including first-generation college students. 

• Assistant Professor; salary based on qualifications and experience. 
• Anticipated annual salary range $74,652 – $98,000.
