The CSU Office of the Chancellor is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Student Assistant to provide clerical support twenty hours per week, Monday - Friday, between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. When classes are not in session, such as during spring and summer breaks, the Student Assistant may be eligible to work up to 40 hours per week.
The anticipated salary for this position is $18.00 per hour.
The salary range for this classification is $16.90 to $24.00 per hour.

Typical duties include data entry; maintaining files and various records; copying and collating a wide variety of documents; mailings; scanning; provide telephone back-up, and other departmental support duties as assigned.
Requirements
~1 min readThe student must be enrolled in at least six units at a CSU campus. This position requires basic experience in an office environment; strong attention to detail, basic knowledge of general office procedures and standard office equipment; basic working knowledge of current software applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to lift/move 25 lbs. or more; ability to learn and perform assigned work; ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities; dependable and mature; ability to work independently, and good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
-Provide general office support to the International Programs staff.
-Assist with data entry and verification in support of the CSUIP online application.
-Assist with surveys, data, and creating reports.
-Assist with marketing and social media initiatives.
