Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor position is responsible for coordinating and assigning the activities of production workers, ensuring that production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and driving P&L results. This position supervises production operations within an assigned areas or during assigned shifts.

• →Supervises workers that operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control, or package goods for shipment.
• →Schedule and assign tasks to workers, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• →Responsible for meeting or surpassing daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with accurate reporting that consistently exceeds customer expectations.
• →Deliver clear and concise information during shift transition meetings, ensuring the next shift is prepared for success.
• →Provide first level of support for any escalated issue during work shift.
• →Maintain consistent production quality by monitoring departmental performance metrics.
• →Communicate effectively with management and customers to ensure SLAs are met and issues are promptly resolved.
• →Engages in employee relations initiatives, promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns to maintain a positive work environment.
• →Assists in P&L forecasting and analysis, alongside labor planning and scheduling.
• →Prepare and administer daily performance feedback and reporting as required.
• →Coordinates the flow of work through the department and ensures that department has sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately.
• →Provide training, motivation, and support to employees regarding company and departmental procedures, development opportunities, and departmental processes.
• →Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
• →All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports

• 1+ years of leadership experience, materials/distribution environment is preferred.
• Capable problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities, demonstrating a strategic approach with a focus on achieving results and fostering continuous improvement.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating effective verbal and written communication.
• Capacity to engage with customers in a professional manner.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
• Supervising temporary staff.
• Experience working with UKG and Kronos.
• General knowledge of OSHA Standards.

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

• Warehouse environment.
