Under the direction of the Director of Compliance, the Compliance Manager – FI Connect is responsible for the day-to-day administration, execution, and maintenance of the Compliance Management System (CMS) for FI Connect. This role partners across business functions to monitor compliance activities, assess regulatory adherence, and support the execution of FI Connect’s compliance program. The Compliance Manager supervises the Compliance Analyst and serves as the primary advisor to business teams on FI Connect compliance matters.

How You'll Contribute:
Compliance Program Execution & Maintenance
- Administer and maintain the Compliance Management System (CMS) documentation and tracking that supports compliance with regulations such as but not limited to, state and federal telemarketing rules (TCPA), state and federal lending rules (TILA, Reg Z, ECOA, FCRA, UDAAP, GLBA), BSA/AML/OFAC as applicable, consumer marketing and related lending and refi activities.
- Lead compliance risk assessments, evaluate control effectiveness, and document gaps requiring remediation
- Develop and execute risk-based compliance monitoring and testing activities; document results and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor regulatory developments and emerging compliance risks, assess business impact, and escalate matters requiring strategic direction
- Manage compliance issues, findings, and corrective action tracking through resolution
- Analyze consumer complaints to identify compliance issues, recurring trends, root causes, and opportunities for corrective action
Fair Lending & Lending Compliance
- Oversee fair lending monitoring and testing, evaluate results, and coordinate remediation of identified risks
- Review lending practices, loan documentation, and disclosures for compliance with consumer lending regulations (TILA, Reg Z, ECOA, FCRA, UDAAP, GLBA)
- Coordinate state licensing compliance tracking and reporting
- Review consumer-facing materials, marketing content, scripts, and promotional materials for compliance (TILA, Reg Z, TCPA, DNC)
- Coordinate compliance approvals for customer communications and marketing initiatives
Governance
- Manage FI Connect’s participation in the enterprise regulatory change management program by monitoring applicable developments, assessing business impact, and coordinating timely implementation readiness
- Support implementation of Director-approved regulatory change processes
- Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and documentation as directed
Other
- Assist training administration with compliance training enforcement and management.
- Provide compliance guidance and advisory support to product, operations, and business stakeholders
- Participate in new product and process reviews to assess compliance considerations
- Support compliance-related examinations, audits, and regulatory inquiries
Support tracking of examination findings and remediation through resolution
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred
Experience
- 5+ years of compliance experience in financial services, fintech, or consumer lending
- Strong working knowledge of consumer lending regulations (TILA, Reg Z, ECOA, FCRA, UDAAP, GLBA)
- Experience managing compliance teams and/or supervising team members
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; attention to detail

- Ability to provide advice and make decisions with regard to compliance-related matters
- Consumer lending regulatory compliance (required)
- PC skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel and database applications.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, consistently produce accurate work, time management skills are critical, prioritization in a high-paced and multi-functional environment is required, ability to maintain deadlines

Recognizing Your Impact
The starting salary range for this full-time position is $111800 - $139800 per year. We offer competitive compensation designed to recognize the value, experience, and contributions each team member brings to Origence. Base pay is determined by factors including experience, geographic location, and internal equity, and eligible positions may participate in our annual bonus program.
