EnergyCo NSW is spearheading the transition to renewable energy to deliver clean electricity to the people of NSW as coal-fired power stations near closure.
About the Opportunity
Our EnergyCo NSW Technical Services team is currently seeking an early-career professional to contribute to the delivery of major renewable energy and transmission projects that will shape NSW's energy future. Supporting the development of Renewable Energy Zones (REZ) and Priority Transmission Infrastructure Projects (PTIP), you'll undertake research, policy analysis, project coordination and stakeholder engagement to help inform strategic decision-making. While government or public sector experience is advantageous, it is not essential. This role would be particularly well suited to an Renewable Energy Engineering or Electrical Engineering graduate who is analytical, proactive and eager to learn, with an interest in energy, infrastructure and public policy.
About You
You have a genuine interest in renewable energy, infrastructure and public policy and enjoy solving complex problems, analysing data and working collaboratively to deliver meaningful outcomes. You're an eager learner with strong communication and organisational skills, able to manage competing priorities and build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders. Previous experience in government or the public sector is advantageous but not essential - what's most important is your curiosity, initiative and willingness to learn.
