Strategic Communications Specialist (E-Volunteer)

Requirements
~1 min read- Shape the communications strategy: Develop a plan that aligns the workplace inclusion program’s positioning with the A-Kasa Foundation’s business objectives.
- Create content and strengthen media visibility: Produce press releases, success stories, newsletters, presentations, and institutional materials while building relationships with print, broadcast, and digital media.
- Lead digital campaigns and channels: Design measurable campaigns that position services, engage stakeholders, and generate business opportunities across social media, the website, LinkedIn, and other strategic platforms.
- Develop visual and commercial assets: Create graphic, multimedia, audiovisual, and sales materials tailored to key audiences and consistent with the foundation’s identity.
- A degree in Social Communication, Journalism, Organizational Communication, Marketing, Advertising, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Additional training or demonstrated experience in strategic communications, branding, public relations, digital marketing, or business development is an asset.
Selection and Screening
If you are shortlisted, you will need to:
- Provide two professional references and one personal reference
- Complete a language assessment during the initial phone interview

- Experience developing strategic communications and institutional positioning initiatives.
- Experience building relationships with press, radio, television, and digital media.
- Experience designing and implementing digital marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or comparable tools.
- Experience with social-purpose organizations, social impact projects, or inclusion initiatives is preferred.
- Knowledge of LinkedIn, Meta Business Suite, digital campaigns, and social media analytics.
