California licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. BLS Required. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA within 60 days of hire/transfer for Speech Pathologists who have recently completed their clinical fellowship year. Certifications required for specific procedures. Under extenuating circumstances, a grace period of no more than one month will be allowed for ASHA Certification of Clinical Competency renewals. Annual 2 hours of stroke education required for those working at QVH.
