SENIOR DATA ARCHITECT

Own and evolve the enterprise target data architecture, including principles, enterprise data models and implementation roadmap

Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Technology teams to ensure data architecture decisions are aligned with enterprise standards, application landscapes and long-term technology direction

Define and govern data architecture standards and design principles across platforms, domains and strategic initiatives

Guide implementation of the target data architecture through governance, design reviews and close collaboration with data engineering, platform engineering and delivery teams

Shape platform direction and lead vendor and product evaluations while keeping architecture decisions internally owned and vendor-independent

Design reusable, phased data architecture solutions that support business growth and align with the enterprise strategic direction

Strengthen the Data function’s roadmap with data architecture insight, ensuring strategic priorities remain technically coherent, scalable and executable

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, informatics or a comparable field

8+ years of experience in enterprise or enterprise data architecture, ideally in financial services

Strong expertise in enterprise data architecture, including data modeling, data warehousing, integration patterns, ETL, MDM and data governance

Experience defining target architectures, modernization roadmaps and migration strategies for enterprise data platforms, ideally on Azure technologies including Microsoft Fabric

Working knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and ArchiMate

Strong communication and presentation skills in English; German is a plus (for collaboration with teams and management in Switzerland)

Leadership maturity and the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative environment
