SENIOR SOLUTION & INTEGRATION ENGINEER ( JAVA)

Design and maintain comprehensive solution architecture and technical design documentation, while delivering robust integration and backend solutions for enterprise applications and services

Assume technical ownership of middleware platforms, microservices, and backend applications, ensuring architectural consistency, operational stability, and adherence to engineering standards

Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for integration technologies, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to define solution specifications and deliver high-quality services

Provide advanced technical support for production environments, including root-cause analysis, incident resolution, defect remediation, and third level (L3) support activities

Drive continuous improvement by evaluating and adopting modern engineering practices, integration patterns, development frameworks, and emerging technologies while contributing to strategic technology decisions

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Java-based software engineering, including Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Apache Camel, messaging platforms (JMS), and database design

Strong expertise in enterprise integration architectures, web service technologies (REST/SOAP), microservices, API-driven solutions, and event-driven design patterns

Proven understanding of software engineering best practices, including solution design, code quality governance, automated testing, peer reviews, CI/CD practices, and secure software development

Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools, software development acceleration platforms, or applied AI technologies is considered a strong advantage

Strong skills in English (for collaboration with teams and management in Switzerland)
