CVS Health has an exciting opportunity for an in-house counsel position on the company's PBM client contracting team. In this role, you will have responsibility for negotiating pharmacy benefit contracts with employer plan sponsor clients, supporting sales teams on new business initiatives, and providing advice to business colleagues on day-to-day matters.

The position involves close collaboration with colleagues throughout the Legal department, as well as with numerous departments throughout the company, including the government affairs, regulatory affairs, client audit and underwriting departments. The position also involves communication with PBM clients and their benefit consultants and attorneys.

• Actively practicing attorney with 5+ years demonstrated experience in a law firm and/or in-house setting: experience with healthcare or other regulatory matters, experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts and/or interacting with government regulators or agencies with respect to healthcare matters
• Admitted to practice law in at least one state and in good standing
• Ability to travel up to 5% (including by plane)

• Strong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations
• Experience in a PBM or health plan/insurer environment
• Experience in litigation or dispute resolution
• Experience managing and/or collaborating with outside counsel

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Juris Doctor (JD) is required
