This role will serve as a strategic advisor to regional and global business leaders, providing financial insights and decision support that drive profitable growth, operational excellence, and business performance. The successful candidate will own the end-to-end planning process, including the annual operating plan, monthly rolling forecasts, management reporting, month end close, and financial analysis. The role will partner closely with on-account client finance managers, ensuring client financial performance translates to corporate results.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, global environment, possesses strong commercial acumen, and can operate independently while building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across finance, operations, client delivery, and executive leadership.
Job Description
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Lead the annual operating plan (AOP) process across APAC and EMEA for GOS’s Integrated Facilities Management, Programs and Projects, and Space Planning and Occupancy Service Lines (collectively “Services”), including template development, regional coordination, business reviews, consolidation, planning system submissions, and executive presentations.
- Own the monthly rolling forecast cycles for revenue, contribution margin, operating expenses, headcount, and profitability.
- Consolidate client results and forecasts into executive-level reporting packages and business reviews.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to improve forecast accuracy.
- Prepare long-range plans and strategic financial analyses to support business growth initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted finance business partner to regional Executive Account Directors, Account Directors, Operations leaders, and Client Finance teams across APAC and EMEA.
- Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Support staffing, resource allocation, organizational structure changes, and investment decisions through financial modeling and analysis.
- Partner closely with Client Finance teams and Shared Services organizations
- Review and validate pricing models, proformas, burden rate assumptions, and profitability analyses.
- Ensure pricing accurately reflects client requirements, operational costs, and target margin expectations.
- Support Onboarding and Transition of new clients from a corporate financial perspective, ensuring transitions are implemented accurately and on schedule, and financial outcomes align with underwritten expectations.
- Own month-end client financial reporting processes, ensuring client-level results are accurately and consistently presented across EMEA and APAC regions.
- Own monthly management reporting processes, including actual-to-budget, actual-to-forecast, and year-over-year variance analysis.
- Develop financial dashboards, KPI reporting, and business intelligence reporting to improve visibility into business performance.
- Monitor and challenge all P&L line items to drive financial discipline and profitability improvements.
- Monitor intercompany agreements, allocations, cost transfers, and corporate reporting requirements.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable balances and resolve roadblocks to prompt debt collection
- Analyze client account profitability, revenue performance, direct labor utilization, and overhead spending trends.
- Present financial results and recommendations to senior management and executive stakeholders.
- Drive standardization and best practices across APAC and EMEA finance operations.
