About the Role

Cyderes is seeking a Network Engineer II to join our Technology Services team in India. This role is ideal for a mid-level network professional with strong experience in Cisco Meraki networking, cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern Zero Trust architectures. The Network Engineer II will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing our global network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. This position reports to the Director of Technology Services and works closely with cross-functional IT and security teams.

  • Design, implement, and support Cisco Meraki switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize network performance to ensure stability, security, and uptime.
  • Develop, document, and enforce network standards, policies, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Collaborate with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable network solutions that meet business needs.
  • Manage network-related projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Implement and support Zero Trust network architectures.
  • Implement and support Zscaler solutions (SWG, CASB, DLP) in partnership with Security teams.
  • Design, implement, and maintain networking solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Work with vendors and service providers to manage network services and escalations.
  • Stay current with emerging networking and security technologies and recommend improvements.
  • Provide regular reporting on network performance, incidents, and improvement initiatives to leadership.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical network services.
  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering or a related role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki switches, firewalls, and wireless solutions.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise networks in multi-site and global environments.
  • Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Solid understanding of network security principles, including segmentation, secure access, and Zero Trust models.
  • Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization tools.
  • Familiarity with hybrid networking architectures (on-prem + cloud).
  • Exposure to network automation, scripting, or infrastructure-as-code tools
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and operational best practices is desirable.
  • Certifications: CCNA/CCNP, Meraki CMNA, AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or equivalent.
