About this role:

Cyngn is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, debug existing hardware platforms, and collaborate directly with our engineering teams. This role requires a self-directed individual capable of managing their own time, prioritizing incoming requests, and navigating ambiguous technical challenges. The ideal candidate has practical experience with electric material handling equipment or electric vehicles and possesses strong manual fabrication and rework skills.

NPI & Assembly: Support NPI build activities, including the physical integration and wiring of autonomous vehicle hardware onto material handling platforms.

Strong problem-solving skills when faced with incomplete documentation or ambiguous requirements.
Professional communication and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach when balancing competing priorities from multiple engineering stakeholders.

This position is based entirely at Cyngn's headquarters in Mountain View, CA. Candidates must be able to perform physical labor typical of an R&D workshop environment, including lifting components up to 50 lbs and working in and around industrial vehicles.
