D2X is looking for a Legal & Compliance Intern!

What we do

D2X launched the first regulated crypto derivatives exchange in a Tier 1 jurisdiction, operating 7 days a week. D2X currently offers cash-settled BTC and ETH Calendar Futures in USD and EUR, with plans to offer more underlings as well as expanding into Long-Dated Futures within the year.

D2X Group N.V. was incorporated in 2021 in Amsterdam with the ambition to pioneer next-generation market infrastructure. D2X holds an MTF license (MiFID II) and has raised over €18 million from strategic investors including Point72, Flow Traders, and GSR.

In a nutshell

We are seeking candidates who are ambitious, have a strong desire to continuously learn, and have a strong interest in financial markets. The ideal candidate must have the ability to multitask, work independently and be flexible.

What you'll do

• Assist with the onboarding and review process of clients (Members);
• Ensuring that all Member-related information of the existing and future Members is up to date, including periodic checks and risk assessments;
• Assist with drafting and reviewing contracts and engagement letters;
• Contract management and keeping our corporate governance files up to date;
• Assist with implementation of (new) regulation (e.g. (market) conduct rules).

Next to the above mentioned you will also get the chance to be involved in other legal and compliance topics depending on the timing of your internship and your own interests.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree, Master is preferred in Law;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch;
• Previous internships and/or paralegal experience are a plus;
• Pragmatic, attentive to details, eager to learn. You show responsiveness, organization, and analytical spirit. You have great social skills that will promote your integration;
• A positive attitude with a can-do approach;
• A strong interest in cryptocurrency and digital assets;
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands;
• Available for 40 hours per week.
