The Senior Utilities Electronic Technician leads, coordinates, and assists lower level electronic technicians in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of a wide variety of electronic equipment related to flood control, water pumping stations or related electronic/electrical equipment to ensure efficient operation of the Dallas Water Utility.

• Component level repairs. 

• Subject to twenty-four/seven (24/7) emergency call-out.

• Some positions require experience working with PLC programs (e.g., Unity Pro, Concept)

Salary Range

 

The salary listed on this job posting is the starting salary range; amount offered will depend upon qualifications.

• Three (3) years of experience in the installation, testing, diagnosis and repair of electronic, electrical controls, computer hardware or related electrical equipment.

• A high school diploma or GED plus five (5) years of the required experience will meet the education and experience requirements.

• An associate degree or higher in a non-specified field plus four (4) years of the required experience will meet the education and experience requirements.

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in a specified field plus one (1) year of the required experience will meet the education and experience requirements.
