Datavant is the data collaboration platform trusted for healthcare. Guided by our mission to make the world’s health data secure, accessible and actionable, we provide critical data solutions for organizations across the healthcare ecosystem - including providers, health plans, researchers, and life sciences companies. From fulfilling a single patient’s request for their medical records to powering the AI revolution in healthcare, Datavanters are building the future of how data is connected and used to improve health.
By joining Datavant today, you’re stepping onto a driven and highly collaborative team that is passionate about creating transformative change in healthcare.
We're looking for a Sr. Product Manager to lead Integrations for Datavant's Legal & Insurance product offering. Integrations is the connective tissue between Datavant's platform and the systems of record our customers already run their business on. Your work will move medical records and insights between those customer systems and Datavant's platform, so customers can request, receive, and act on information without leaving the tools they work in every day. Today, this kind of connectivity and interoperability is often custom-built, manual, and fragmented. Our customers operate under tight timelines, incomplete information, and strict regulatory constraints. Your job will be to make integration standardized, reliable, and scalable.
In this role, you'll work closely with engineering, analytics, operations, and commercial teams to build the future of Datavant's Legal & Insurance offering. You'll define a common connector framework and a common connectivity layer, including modern approaches such as MCP, so that new integrations are configured and repeatable rather than bespoke. You'll make sure records and AI-generated analysis insights flow back into customer systems in a form people can use right away, and you'll shape the developer and integrator experience that makes Datavant easy to build on.
This is a unique opportunity to shape how a growing vertical connects to the customers it serves. It is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, rolls up their sleeves, drives clarity in complexity, and enjoys building at the intersection of healthcare, law, insurance, and data.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for Legal & Insurance integrations.
- →Own the strategy for a common connector framework and connectivity layer, including MCP and other approaches that make Datavant's data and workflows accessible to AI agents, so integrations can be delivered faster and reused across customers.
- →Serve as the connective tissue between Datavant's platform and customer systems of record, defining how requests, records, and insights move in each direction while partnering with the teams that own the underlying workflows and data.
- →Deliver records and analysis insights, such as summaries and chronologies, back into customer systems so users can act on them inside their existing workflows, with less manual handoff and more workflow automation.
- →Build an excellent developer and integrator experience, including documentation, sandbox and testing tools, and self-service onboarding.
- →Partner with engineering, solutions, UX, CX, and operations to identify friction in today's integrations and translate it into scalable product solutions.
- →Improve outcomes across reliability, delivery success, time to integrate, share of volume flowing through integrations, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
~4 min read- 5+ years of product management experience, with a proven record of leading complex, enterprise-grade, data-centric B2B SaaS products, ideally platform, API, or integration products.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a product from concept to launch.
- Experience with integrations, connectors, or data exchange products; bonus points for experience in healthcare data or in legal and insurance medical record workflows.
- Technical depth to work through architecture and design tradeoffs with engineers, including APIs, webhooks, data models, authentication, and event-driven patterns.
- Experience scoping and delivering integrations with enterprise customers and their systems of record.
- Comfort designing products in highly regulated, high-stakes environments, balancing compliance with user experience.
- A self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, distills complexity into clear direction, and works well with engineering, analytics, and executive stakeholders to drive execution.
