Commercial Contracts Analyst - Remote

Our client, a world leader in life sciences and diagnostics, is looking for a "Commercial Contracts Analyst" - Remote based out of SSF, CA. Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension) Pay Rate: $46/hr on W2 Company Benefits: Medical, Paid Sick leave, 401K We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Analyst II to support the Data, Digital, and Analytics organization at a leading life sciences company. This role will support the creation, processing, approval, execution, and lifecycle management of vendor contracts, with a particular focus on market research, data purchases, and digital/technology services. The successful candidate will serve as a super user of contracting platforms such as MyBuy and gMEMORI, supporting business stakeholders with contract intake, self-service agreements, purchase orders, invoicing, vendor classification, and contract workflow management. This position will also help improve contracting processes, ensure compliance with established requirements, and provide training and guidance to project owners. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related questions, amendments, purchase orders, vendor classification, and invoicing issues. Review business requests and determine whether they qualify for self-service contract processing or require full-service contract management. Process and manage market research and data purchase contracts in accordance with vendor Master Service Agreements, data privacy requirements, and acceptable-use policies. Process self-service contract requests and coordinate full-service requests through contracting platforms such as MyBuy and Navigator. Manage contract intake, workflow progression, approvals, execution, amendments, and related documentation. Support US Market Research and Patient Support Program (MAP) activities in accordance with applicable requirements. Manage Purchase Orders (POs), including creation, issuance, tracking, and maintenance. Partner with Finance to ensure PO structures support complex market research and data purchase agreements and accurate reporting and FACT coding. Coordinate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies and support timely payments. Monitor contract workflows, identify delays or issues, and coordinate resolution with stakeholders or IT. Support continuous improvement of contracting processes, templates, and operational practices. Develop and deliver training and educational sessions for business stakeholders on contracting procedures and MyBuy. Partner with Commercial Contract Specialists and other procurement/contract teams to improve operational efficiency and standardization. Maintain accurate contract and procurement records while ensuring adherence to established procedures and compliance requirements. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 5–10 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with relevant professional experience. 5+ years of experience in contract management, procurement, contract administration, legal operations, or a related field. Experience managing commercial or vendor contracts and contract lifecycle processes. Strong understanding of Purchase Orders, invoicing, billing, and procurement processes. Demonstrated ability to identify process issues, resolve contracting/invoicing challenges, and drive timely completion. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel. Working knowledge of cloud-based systems and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace. Preferred Qualifications Experience with market research agreements or data purchase agreements. Experience with data licensing, digital, or technology contracts. Experience in healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environments. Experience with Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and vendor agreements. Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) or procurement systems. Interested!
