Senior Automation Tester

Are you a highly experienced Senior Automation Tester with strong Java programming skills and extensive experience in banking and payment systems?

We are looking for a technically strong Automation Tester to join a leading banking environment, working on mission-critical payment platforms and complex integrated systems.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in software testing and automation, with proven experience building automation frameworks from the ground up, developing automated test solutions and testing complex payment systems.

• →Design, build and maintain robust test automation frameworks from the ground up.
• →Develop and execute detailed test cases, test plans and automation scripts.
• →Perform functional, regression, integration, API and end-to-end testing.
• →Automate complex payment processes, transaction flows and system integrations.
• →Conduct API testing and validate RESTful services and application integrations.
• →Work with developers, Business Analysts and QA engineers to ensure high-quality releases.
• →Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and deployment.
• →Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• →Identify defects, investigate issues and drive resolutions.
• →Communicate testing progress, results and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• →Champion QA best practices, automation standards and compliance with banking requirements.
• →Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with other automation engineers.

• Kafka, messaging systems and event-driven architectures.
• ISO 20022 standards and payment messaging.

• 10+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Strong hands-on Java programming and automation development skills.
• Proven experience designing and building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Extensive experience with automated functional, regression, integration and API testing.
• Strong experience with Selenium and/or Playwright.
• Proven experience testing complex payment systems and transaction processing.
• Deep understanding of the payments domain, including payment authorisation, settlement, reconciliation and integrations.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines and version control.
• Previous experience within banking or financial services is essential.
• Experience working in fast-paced Agile environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
