At Debenhams Group, we are a diverse portfolio of five core brands (boohoo, boohooMAN, PrettyLittleThing, Karen Millen, and Debenhams) alongside a dynamic marketplace model and a growing financial services division, it keeps us pretty busy!

We don’t stand still, we lead, evolve, and redefine online fashion. With bold ambitions and big energy, we’re on a mission to be the best, delivering the strongest propositions to our customers in the most engaging, innovative, and efficient ways possible.

We thrive on change, innovation, and pace. Every challenge is an opportunity, and every day is a chance to push boundaries. If you’re someone who embraces the unknown, thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment, and is ready to shape the future of retail, you’ll love it here. We want visionaries, disruptors, and doers, people who bring fresh thinking, relentless energy, and the drive to make an impact.

Be brave. Be creative. Be a community.

As a Merchandiser on a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC) for PrettyLittleThing, you will be responsible for driving sales and profit performance across your category. You will lead the commercial strategy, manage stock levels, oversee intake and critical path timelines, optimise sales margins, and guide a high-performing merchandising team in a fast-paced fast-fashion environment.

Allow us to reintroduce you to PrettyLittleThing, the generation-defining style source for every kind of It Girl. Founded with the belief that quality fashion essentials should be available to all, we deliver an extensive range of clothing and accessories for all sizes, genders, races, and ages. From the classic and timeless to the contemporary and cutting edge, designed with you in mind.

Think it's impossible to love Monday almost as much as Friday? Think again! - For the team at PrettyLittleThing, that weekend-every-day feeling is a perk of working for us, and it's the kind of vibe we're all used to and expect. Our unique way of working speaks for itself: we work hard, and we play hard.

You will join a dynamic, collaborative merchandising department that works side-by-side with Buying, Design, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to bring trend-led propositions to market quickly and maximize revenue opportunities across key territories.

What you will be doing:

  • Planning & Strategy: Develop and execute seasonal department strategy, range plans, and financial budgets in alignment with business KPIs.
  • WSSI Management: Maintain and re-forecast the Weekly Sales, Stock, and Intake (WSSI) plan to control stock depth, open-to-buy (OTB), margin, and terminal stock targets.
  • Trade Analysis & Action: Analyse weekly trading performance, identify key risks and opportunities, and implement promotional strategies, markdowns, or rebuys to drive profitable growth.
  • Rebuys & Line Cards: Manage repeat order flows and line-card performance to ensure maximum stock availability on high-performing lines and core continuities.
  • Critical Path & Intake Management: Oversee critical path tracking from purchase order issuance to warehouse delivery, collaborating closely with sourcing and logistics teams.
  • Stock Management: Optimise stock allocation, warehouse cover, and replenishment strategies to minimise aged stock and maximise stock turn.
  • Team Leadership: Directly line manage, coach, and develop Assistant Merchandisers and Merchandising Admin Assistants (MAAs) to foster high talent retention and capability.
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Merchandiser or Merchandiser within an e-commerce or fast-fashion retail environment.
  • Strong technical mastery of WSSI forecasting, OTB management, critical path management, and commercial trade reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and analytical acumen for turning complex data into actionable trade insights.
  • A team player with a strong collaborative mindset and a pro-active attitude.
  • Ability to work independently, manage own time effectively, and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • A genuine interest in fashion and retail.

Our mission is to create a workplace where everyone is respected, individual differences are valued, and people can be themselves at work — without exception.
