Income Auditor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Income Auditor to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of revenue transactions, verifying daily income reports, and supporting the financial control processes of the business. 

• →Review and verify daily revenue transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness. 
• →Reconcile sales records, cash receipts, bank deposits, and payment transactions. 
• →Investigate and resolve discrepancies between operational and financial records. 
• →Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly income audit reports. 
• →Verify that all sales are accurately recorded and posted to the appropriate accounts. 
• →Review discounts, refunds, credit notes, and voided transactions to ensure compliance with company policies. 
• →Reconcile revenue figures from various business units and systems. 
• →Assist in the month-end closing process through the preparation of reconciliations and supporting schedules. 
• →Maintain accurate audit trails and supporting documentation. 
• →Liaise with operational departments to resolve revenue-related queries and discrepancies. 
• →Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and financial procedures. 
• →Support the Finance team with additional accounting and administrative duties as required. 
• →Assisting with stock taking where necessary 

• A-Level standard of education, preferably with a pass in Accountancy. 
• Previous experience in accounting, auditing, finance, or revenue control will be considered an asset. 
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliations.
