IT Junior Systems Administrator

Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the IT Junior Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting the IT team with their daily tasks.

• →Phishing email analysis and campaign creation.
• →Firewall and web filter log review and investigations.
• →Web filter allow/disallow listing.
• →Email security management.
• →Virus updates, patch and service pack management, including testing, deployment staging, and documentation.
• →MDT application updates.
• →Basic VMware vCenter administration.
• →Basic routing, switching, wireless network troubleshooting.
• →Basic Cisco UCM and Unity Connection administration.
• →Hardware and software troubleshooting.
• →Responding to system and/or network security incidents and breaches.
• →Build and maintain process documentation.
• →Perform other duties within IT as required.

• Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux servers, core services and enterprise applications.
• Advanced knowledge of networking, including routing, switching, firewalls in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of scripting technologies – PowerShell, PowerCLI, Bash, Python.

• Degree or Diploma specializing in Information Technology.
