Technical Product Owner

This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team based in the Netherlands. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Action, Inter Milan, Blackroll and Bolia

As a Technical Product Owner, you step into a project when the vision is set and it’s time to help the client with their next step: fast and sustainable execution. You’ll be the key link between the client and the teams we provide, ensuring that their business goals are clearly defined and understood. And finally, you help clients explore new business propositions and continuously improve their digital efforts based on research and data analyses.

• →Contribute to the development, documentation and understanding of the project scope, objectives and technical feasibility involving all relevant stakeholders
• →Collaborate with internal teams to solution, develop and implement digital projects;
• →Own and maintain the product backlog, keeping it well-structured, prioritized, and aligned with the client's business goals and roadmap.
• →Translate client business processes and requirements into actionable development work, and challenge requirements where a simpler or more robust solution exists.
• →Prepare and lead refinement sessions with the development team, breaking epics down into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• →Write and maintain technical specifications, including functional requirements, integrations, data flows, and API behavior, together with developers and architects.
• →Assess technical feasibility and flag dependencies, risks, and technical debt early, so the team can make informed trade-offs.
• →Participates in test case definition and user acceptance testing together with QA teams.
• →Identify and report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product teams;
• →Stay on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer;
• →Balance priorities between new features, bug fixes, technical improvements, and maintenance, and clearly explain those choices to the client and the team.
• →Keep stakeholders informed on progress, scope changes, and upcoming releases.
• →Guard the projects scope together with project management

• 5+ years of experience; preferably in a digital agency or client-facing environment
• Are passionate, smart and have endless love for digital;
• Strong Communication and business writing skills;
• Advanced knowledge of project management and agile methodologies;
• Ability to interact across a range of stakeholders, from business executives to creatives, engineers, managers, SMEs and vendors;
• Great organizer, facilitator and collaborator;
• Working knowledge in the use of JIRA/Confluence;
• Are fluent in English, Dutch is a plus;
• IREB® Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering Foundation Level is a plus.
