We're interviewing now at our Redlands, CA facility!  Looking for a client-focused Support Staff, who has knowledge of mental health and substance abuse clientele!


We are seeking to fill a Full-Time Graveyard Support Staff position.


General Summary:


The Support Staff fulfills the assigned role as part of the treatment team – to maintain the wellbeing of clients and the integrity of the program. Additionally, the Support Staff provides client supervision and staff/unit support as assigned.


THIS IS AN AWAKE SHIFT

 

Responsibilities:


·      Develop and maintain appropriate professional relationships with clients and staff


·      Supervise U/A testing, reporting and documentation


·      Intake responsibilities as late night intakes happen often; including but not limited to: client searches, property search; documenting client property, washing client clothing to ensure no contraband is brought in and folding/hanging said clothing, signing consents, etc. 


·      Supports clients emotionally and environmentally for comfort and safety upon arrival, when they are having a     hard time sleeping & in the morning


·      Accurately document rounds - AND CONDUCTING THEM


·      Cleaning responsibilities - this is MANDATORY


·      Responsible of PRN medications and vitals/COWS/CIWAS for clients


·      Listens, documents, and reports client behaviors


·      Maintains confidentiality of clients at all time


·      Provides encouragement, guidance and support to clients


·      Completes required intake paperwork when there is an overflow into this shift or a late night admit


·      Provides crisis intervention and encourages a healthy residential and working environment


·      Communicates and collaborates with co-workers, clinical staff, and administration in order to deliver the best quality care possible.


·      Perform a nightly medication audit 


·     Other duties as assigned


Requirements:


·       CPR & First Aid certification


·       Valid California Driver's License


·       Must be able to pass Background Check


·       Negative TB Test


·       Must understand therapeutic process, confidentiality laws, professional ethics, fundamentals of addiction, and mental health disabilities and treatment


·       Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays if needed
