We invite a Junior Test Automation Engineer to join our collaborative team. In this role, you’ll create and run automated tests, review test results, and help identify issues in complex cloud-based systems. You’ll also gain hands-on experience with performance testing by executing test scripts and collecting and monitoring key performance metrics.

• Build hands-on experience in performance testing while growing your AQA skills
• Work with complex cloud-based systems and gain exposure to performance metrics and monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch
• Learn from experienced engineers in a collaborative, knowledge-sharing team

• Up to 1.5 years of experience in software testing or test automation
• Understanding of software testing principles and QA practices
• Basic programming or scripting skills in Python or Scala
• Basic understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, headers, payloads, and API status codes
• Ability to execute tests, review results, and identify issues or unexpected behavior
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Upper-Intermediate English level

• Basic understanding of performance testing concepts (Load, Stress, Spike, and Soak/Endurance testing)
• Basic understanding of performance metrics, including latency, response time, throughput, and error rates
• Hands-on familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Locust, or Gatling
• Experience with AWS or another major cloud platform
• Basic experience with AWS CloudWatch
• Basic Linux command-line experience
• Familiarity with Git
• Relevant certifications/courses, such as ISTQB CTFL, AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials, or JMeter/Locust training

🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you'll help ensure the quality and reliability of our software while building your skills in test automation and performance testing.

• Create, maintain, and run automated tests
• Help investigate test failures and fix issues with automated tests
• Execute pre-scripted performance tests, including Load, Stress, Spike, and Soak/Endurance tests
• Record key performance metrics (latency, response times, throughput, error rates, and HTTP response codes)
• Monitor basic performance metrics using AWS CloudWatch
• Review test results and identify anomalies and basic performance failures
• Report anomalies and basic performance failures to intermediate and senior team members
