Engineering Technician 3

Where You Come In: As Engineering Technician 3, you will: * Perform troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and calibration of automated manufacturing equipment. * Operate and support robotic, vision, and automation systems to ensure equipment reliability and uptime. * Conduct equipment testing, fault isolation, and root cause analysis to resolve technical issues. * Support equipment installation, qualification, validation, and transfer activities. * Maintain accurate equipment documentation, maintenance records, and work instructions. * Ensure compliance with safety requirements, including LOTO and EHS procedures. * Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and efficiency. * Provide on-shift technical leadership and coordinate equipment recovery efforts during production interruptions. * Provide guidance and support to junior technicians when required. What Makes You Successful: * Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment and production processes. * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, and technical documents. * Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation equipment issues independently. * Able to maintain accurate maintenance, troubleshooting, and qualification documentation. * Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technicians, engineers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams. * Experience supporting equipment validation, IQ/OQ/PQ activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and make sound technical decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Experience with robotics, PLCs, SCADA, vision systems, and industrial automation is an added advantage. Qualifications: * Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field. * 10-15 years of experience in equipment engineering within medical device or high-tech manufacturing. * Hands-on experience with automated equipment, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
