We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to transport our robots to client sites and events across the UK and mainland Europe. This role involves towing a trailer, so proven towing experience is essential. You’ll be provided with a company van and fuel card, and will play a key part in ensuring our equipment
arrives safely.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Transport robots safely and efficiently from our warehouse in Verda Park to client sites, warehouses, exhibitions, and events across the UK and mainland Europe, and return them to base.
- →Plan and optimise delivery routes, taking into account traffic, road conditions, and potential disruptions.
- →Operate company vehicles, including vans and trailers, ensuring full compliance with towing requirements.
- →Take responsibility for vehicle upkeep, including routine maintenance, daily serviceability checks, and cleanliness.
- →Support additional company transport needs, including inter-site deliveries, airport transfers, and station pick-ups
- →Represent the company professionally during face-to-face interactions with clients and partners
- →Assist with warehouse operations on non-driving days, including coordinating repairs, general upkeep, and facility organisation
- →Manage stock and supplies for staff welfare, including arranging deliveries and maintaining inventory levels as directed
- →Oversee basic maintenance and servicing of on-site equipment, such as beverage machines
- →Work flexibly to meet business needs, including occasional extended driving hours and weekend work (e.g. Sunday travel for Monday events)
Requirements
~1 min read- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Proven experience in towing trailers safely and confidently.
- Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card holder.
- Category C1 (7.5 tonne) driving licence.
- Solid knowledge of UK road regulations, with the ability to adapt to European driving requirements where necessary.
