The Floor Machine Operator ensures clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities under government contracts by operating floor care equipment, maintaining standards, and supporting Didlake’s mission through quality work and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • →Operate floor machines (scrubbers, burnishers, polishers) safely and efficiently.
  • →Clean and maintain floors and common areas include corridors, restrooms, stairways, lobbies, and other assigned spaces.
  • →Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment per SOPs.
  • →Sweep, mop, scrub, polish floors, clean restrooms, empty trash, replenish supplies, and polish fixtures.
  • →Follow all safety standards, company policies, and contract requirements.
  • →Report maintenance issues or equipment damage to the supervisor.
  • →Work collaboratively with team members and maintain professional conduct.
  • →Complete required Didlake training and other duties as assigned.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience operating floor machines.
  • Must be a U. S. citizen
  • Real Id required for access to the work site.
  • Knowledge of floor care equipment and cleaning products.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with co-workers, including individuals with disabilities.
  • Demonstrated reliability, flexibility, and attention to safety.
