As Global Fleet Specialist, you play an important role in enabling Diebold Nixdorf’s global operations by helping ensure our vehicle fleet is reliable, efficient, safe, and ready to support our teams in the field. You provide operational and administrative coordination across day-to-day fleet activities, including data accuracy, reporting, telematics monitoring, billing review, driver support, and issue resolution across multiple regions.  Working in close collaboration with regional teams, Fleet Management Companies, and internal stakeholders, you bring accountability, urgency, and decisiveness to fleet operations while supporting consistent communication, compliance, safety, and sustainability standards. Your willingness to challenge the status quo and improve how we work helps DN deliver dependable service to our customers and connect people to commerce every day.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for regional teams and field drivers, resolving routine inquiries related to vehicles, maintenance, approvals, and fuel cards.
  • Monitor global telematics platforms to track asset utilization, driver safety trends, and vehicle performance, helping identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support fleet safety and compliance efforts with local, regional, and international requirements, including safety and environmental standards, in partnership with Regional Health and Safety Directors.
  • Analyze fleet data and prepare reports on key performance indicators such as cost per vehicle, utilization rates, and incident trends.
  • Coordinate onboarding and day-to-day transactional workflows with regional Fleet Management Companies and leasing partners.
  • Review and reconcile fleet invoices, fuel spend, and maintenance charges across assigned regions to identify discrepancies before final management approval.
  • Support incident management workflows by coordinating accident reporting, documentation, investigation follow-up, and corrective action tracking.
  • Assist with the distribution and adoption of global fleet policies and standard operating procedures, helping regional teams stay aligned with corporate safety and sustainability guidelines.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain, transportation, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 2–4+ years’ experience in customer service, fleet administration, transportation, logistics, or a related operational support environment.
  • Understanding of, or willingness to learn, the operational differences between North American, EMEA, and APAC fleet operations.
  • Excel skills, including lookups, data validation, pivot tables, and organization of high-volume transactional data.
  • Knowledge of fleet systems, telematics platforms, and data analysis tools.
  • Patient, clear, and culturally adaptable communication skills to support frontline customer service requests from a diverse, global workforce.
  • Administrative troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify data anomalies, billing errors, and process gaps.
  • Experience reviewing invoices, fuel transactions, maintenance charges, or other high-volume billing data.
  • Customer service mindset with a commitment to providing timely, helpful operational support to drivers and field managers.
  • Collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with regional teams, Fleet Management Companies, drivers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Process discipline and attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy, reporting quality, and timely follow-up on compliance activities.
  • Ability to prioritize a high volume of incoming support requests across multiple regions and time zones.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience navigating Fleet Management Company portals such as Element, Wheels, Holman, Ayvens, or Arval.
  • Experience using telematics dashboards or fleet reporting tools to monitor utilization, driver safety trends, vehicle performance, or cost data
